Mine has to go. NSX's make much more logical stable mates for my S2K. -KM.
The ad for the Porsche says you'll "help with financing, if needed". Well, I could use some *help* to the tune of $20k, then I could actually afford the Porsche

Seriously, though, as far as S2000 vs. 911, I had the opportunity to drive a 996 a few years ago and have had Porsche fever ever since. I absolutely love my S2000, but if money wasn't an obstacle, I'd have to go for the Porsche.

You say your too old at 37 to buy the S2000. My oldest kid is almost your age. Age should not be a factor, if you like the S2000 go for it. You'll feel 10 years younger. In my case, I'm back to puberty.

Well I turned 49 this year and I'm definitely too old for my S. Excuse me, it's 5:00 and I get to go drive it home . If I get a break in the traffic I may just put on that Vtec smile. Age is no factor here. Old enough to know what we want and young enough to enjoy it. Catch me if you can!

What disturbed me about the porsche was that it was no fun. I already have a good but no fun car. The S2000 was total fun even though it definitely lacks the 'curb appeal' of the 911.

So I've gotta go with the S2000. I think it will be nice to have both cars to use when appropriate.

i know a guy who has both 911 and s2000.
apparently, he tells me he "likes s2000 much better than 911."
i dunno if he's serious, or trying to make me happy.
who knows... heh heh.
