The last year I have saved up for an E36 M3 .. I now have about 25k saved up .. Just before making the plunge to buy the M3, I have been looking closely at the S2000. Seems more reliable, and maintenance costs seem to be a lot more reasonable.

So anyways, I am willing to wait till the fall to buy a 2000 year S2000, does anyone know what I am looking to spend, I am willing to travel anywhere in the lower 48 states. Would 27k be unreasonable to find < 25k mile S2000. Anyone see some potential problems with my idea.

PS. 2 seater no big deal. Im in my twenties and dont plan on a wife and kids for a while

 

Even without wife and kids, you might need the bigger luggage space.

Anyway, right now $27K for <25k mile is a good deal IMO.
