fyi - Honda is doing a 100% recall on all 2000, 2001 and 2002 S-2000s for a faulty spark plug gasket that can cause the engine to misfire (and make the engine light go on).

Just received my letter in the mail... this recall is being spread out since it covers all S-2000s.

If you have sold your car, or changed your address, make sure Honda has the correct info. on file so that the new owner (or you) get the notice in a timely fashion.

 

Does anyone know whether the plugs are replaced with OEM equipment or either better-than or not-as-good-as original?

 

Improved OEM I would suppose....NGK?
I took mine in today, the dealership says it is not a recall....
They ordered the kit and a new clutch for me.....
