25k miles and over two years of happy ownership here! Not only is this car an incredibly reliable sports car, it comes with an amazing community too!

I've had my share of warranty services, but in the Bay Area, we are fortunate that the dealers are mostly pretty good (since there are so many S2000's around) so its been relatively painfree.

Feel free to drop into the Bay Area Forum and meet up with the local owners to get a more accurate feel for how people here like the car. As stated before, most folks lurk and then come to the events not posting about how they like the car....only post to complain IF something isnt right.

it's the fastest, most reliable convertible you can get from honda But seriously, it is a solid car and 2002 has addressed many of the issues which could have deterred people in the past... And surprisingly, despite all the negative things people have said about this car - trans, issues, etc - honda is selling quite a few of them for such a limited production car - you'll never see them on sale or with 0% apr...

I agree the forums bring out more negative comments and overall I believe there are more happy owners than unhappy, vis-a-vis reliability.

That said, I also think it is a sad statement about the general level of quality in all automobiles. So many other new cars have quality issues, and more than us too. I mean, you plunk down your hard-earned cash for a serious ride and you do expect a higher design and build quality than you'd expect in an econobox. No brand seems immune.
