I noticed my s2k has that smells after its been sitting in the garage top up for a while, it's gotta be the seats, it makes me smile when I smell it.

The first car I had as a teen also had that distinctive aroma inside that was unmistakeable. It was a Volkswagen Beetle.67' model.I owned three of them of over the years and they all had that same signature smell. Anyway ,funny someone would start a thread about this because I've also noticed since purchasing my 06' recenetly that it does have its own signature interior aroma. Probably just a blend of all of the different interior fixtures. Peace.... out.

my first miata smelled exactly like my second, both were leather, i think it must be the seats. my dad had an s2000 before I got mine and i agree, the smell is very very familiar

I love the smell, especially after the car has been sitting for a few days with the top up.
