if you don't have a driveway, bring it to your moms house, that's what i do.

i only use the coin wash when i have to, like after it rains and all the road dirt is on your car, and i don't stand too close when i do use those things.

Take a bucket and sponge with you to the car wash. wash it there by hand.. then pull it out and dry it there. don't use the car washes brushes or an automatic car wash.

That's what I do, since I don't have a place to wash it at my apartment. However, I'll have a house in a few months... then everything will be better.

Got a faucet in the kitchen? Go to Home Depot or a hardware store and buy an adapter that converts the threads on the sink faucet to a regular hose fitting. Then get a flat hose and hook it up with a nozzle...my kitchen is on the second floor of my townhouse (garage underneath) and the hose just get's thrown down the stairs on wash day.
Piece of cake

The only public car-wash I'll visit is a "wand-wash/co-operated" dealy... at least this way you can control where the water is going, and how hard it's hitting the seals/paint.

Those automatic car washes are brutal. I wouldn't even run my leased F-150 through one of those back when I had it.

hey, thats a hell of an idea. I forgot to have a faucet installed in my garage when the house was built earlier this year. I'm kicking myself now that I have drains in the garage floor, and no way of actually washing the car's in there.

I think I'll stop by home depot and try to find one of these!

thanks

I was my S2000 at the auto car wash on a weekly basis. For crying out loud, it's a honda.

SHAME ON YOU! Get outside in a bikini and rub soap on it the right way. Then wax it.
