Got a faucet in the kitchen? Go to Home Depot <snip>
I've seen people do it, and it's a good idea... but I live on the 3rd floor and my apartment faces a courtyard, so in order to make this work, I'd have to run the hose down 3 flights of stairs and around the building. I'm not buying a 500ft long hose just to wash my car! It's easier to do a bucket wash at the spray off wash across the street.

Prefer to wash my car myself so I can check on the condition of the finish. Touch up stone chips and buff dull areas and minor scratches. Takes about an hour to do a Great job.

My friend owns a detail shop and always wants to wash my car for free. He says that it will only take about 10 minutes to wash her Yea right I have seen the Half a$$ job they do on other cars. His workers get paid $2 per car and could care less how many scratches they leave while washing these cars. I would rather do it myself, and do it right the first time.

Have some pride in your ride

My cars always bring top dollar when sold because they still look like new when i'm ready to sell them

you do know that dirt and grime are the best protectors of a car's finish, right?
