I had high hopes for the CR-Z when they first talked about it, but it gets horrible gas mileage! IMO, you're better off getting a Ford Fiesta, Chevy Cruze (yup, I said that. 1.4L turbo that gets 40mpg), Yaris, Mini, etc. How does a mid-size Ford Fusion hybrid get such better gas mileage than the CR-Z? Honda effed up!

 

Agreed on this. The Prius is...well, I liked the original a lot better than the one now, as well, it's a Prius, so you'll more than likely have people questioning your sexuality, awkwardly enough, it happened to me a couple times when I took one out for a demo while my car was in the shop (No offense intended to those who are not of straight sexual orientation).

As for the topic at hand, as much as I love the design of the CR-Z, I do have to give it to the Yaris when it comes to value for dollar, great on gas, zippy, and it's a surprisingly nice car to look at as well.

I've taken a liking to this particular one as of late.

 

Actually... we aren't implying the Yaris looks better, THEN the CR-Z. Cause, the CR-Z is hideous and is no where near the docile looks of the Yaris. So, it wouldn't be best looking docile cars:
1. Yaris
then.
2. CR-Z
Cause, the CR-Z would be like, 40th.

However, we are implying the Yaris looks better THAN the CR-Z.

Yes we are hating, what's your point? A poorly executed idea, is a poorly executed idea. Are you shocked that you came onto a honda vehicle website, and are having people slam another Honda vehicle? It's un-attractive, scratch that... A Malibu is unattractive, a echo is un-attractive, the CR-Z is two bolts short of a frankenstein. It's overweight, under-powered, and doesn't get the MPG it should. Are we supposed to be enthralled?

 

Better to design a car that some love and others hate then to design something so inoffensive that no one cares... The cr-z at least has us all talking about it... that is more than can be said of most cars out there.

 

I suppose, I find it to be very attractive... But people hate just as much on my spoon hardtop, and others think it looks amazing. I guess when something looks that good there's gotta be ppl that completely hate on it.

 

going to be over priced and it only has 2 seats. I can give you that looks are in the eyes of the beholder, but that's the only thing going well for it. It is a niche market seller.
