Yes its uncomfortable
Yes the top rattles on bumps and annoys me
Yes the car is small and cramped
I think about these things too until i see everyone look at me and love my car and take it to 8k and then all those things disappear.

Get a beater for DD. Then you'll enjoy the s2000 more when you drive it.

Daily Driven, 2 years. Only time I drove something else was when I was waiting on tires or when I pulled the transmission out for a clutch change~

DDing my S now too.

When I take my 240Z out the S2000 feels like a luxury car afterwards. A/C, stereo, power windows... WOW!!!!

The only time I get tired of the car is in the middle of the Florida summer when its 9 billion degrees out and the car bogs and feels powerless.

Otherwise, its still my favorite!

I agree that if you just DD the S, you'll get bored of it. But, if you take it on twisty road, track or autocross, you will know why it's such a good car. The S wasn't designed for DD in stop and go traffic or the freeway.

It also wasn't designed for taking co workers out to lunch, blind spot to see traffic (could be fixed with proper side mirror adjustment), and making your date comfortable.

With the top up and it getting cold out I do wish I had a different car a bunch of the time. During the summer nice out and top down I am in love with it!
Def would like to have like a wrx or something along those lines for a daily driver and not drive this in the not so nice weather.
I think if I got rid of it I would miss it right away and need to get another one!

I feel ya man. Been DD'ing mine for the past 3 years while I was in school. Though I threw around the option of getting into an STI hatch and selling the s2k...after a long time of going back and forth and ALMOST buying a used STI, I decided to just buy another vehicle [Xterra] to complement the S
