I say if you aren't happy with the S2000 - sell them and let someone else have fun.

I was getting bored of the S2000 last year so I decided to trade it. I ended up trading it for a CR.
I daily drive my CR and haven't gotten bored yet. I actually enjoy the drive, though I do wish the stereo was better.

I love to drive my S2k. I have mercedes and I bought S2k for weekend drive. but Its so addicting.. every morning when I grab my key i have S2k key on my hand. So somehow my mercedes became weekend car now... haha So dont sell your s2k and just buy a car with 4 door. Having a 1 convertible car is really tough. If you have a comfortable sedan you will love more your s2k for sure.

Insurance: Cheaper than the S2000.
It still blows my mind that a C6 Z06 was marginally more a month than my S to insure. By like $8 IIRC. C6 was wellllll under that.

Maybe I am bored, or maybe I am just getting old. I am 28 years old and have been driving the s2k for a few years now. There are times that I love the car, like last week for instance. Top down, sunny day in socal, ripping the car to 8k rpms...very stress relieving. It's a serious sports car, and I'm not going to get into why this car is so beloved. You guys know what this is all about. There's something special about it, and the bottom line is that it makes you feel special owning.

But, lately, there have been times where I have been fancying the idea of getting a new car. Something more comfortable and roomy. I hate the idea that I can not enjoy the car with someone other than a "homie". Taking girls out is always a chore for them, esp getting in and out. The blind spots is annoying at times. Trying to get out of sticky situations always involving pushing the engine to screeching levels. I'll admit, taking co-workers out to lunch is really not an 'S' thing also. The car is so damn small, I almost feel like my time is ticking with all the SUVs putting around.

Maybe I should do a trade in for a '11 WRX! Haha. Or even an EvoX... Blah! What am I saying. I'm going to bed.

Thanks for reading guys. I was just bored. /Rant
I felt this same way about two years ago when I bought my Evo X. Traded in my S for the Evo X. Since then I have saved up enough to buy another S and I still have my Evo X as well Best of both worlds

Get both

I'm on month 4 of ownership and it's my DD. I'm still relatively young, with nobody to carry around except myself. Honestly, I can understand how potentially a small 2 seater could be an inconvenience in life, but at this point, it's been nothing but a blast.

Back in June, I had gotten bored of daily driving my s2000 too. I got a truck, and now every time Im driving the truck I only think about my s2000. Its funny how driving another car makes you love the s2000 so much more.

I know the feeling as well, I have a GMC 2500 HD 4X4 that I drive most of the time. My wife has a nice 4 door sedan while I have the S2k and the truck, but I do want to get another car. I had a BMW 335i which I loved and only got rid of it because I had a son and at the time I didn't want the car payment and how much a new child costs.

I don't think the wife will go for having 4 vehicles for just the two of us, but I really want a luxury vehicle. When I get into my wife's car I like how it just glides along the road and how comfortable and quiet it is. But I couldn't do without the S.

I thought about the EvoX, but I just can't get over the fact that it looks like the econo box version. Looks plays a big part in owning a sports car - I want to feel like I'm driving something that looks fast. A perfect car for me would probably be something more like racier version of the g37...maybe a remake of the 240z. Or a beefed up version of the RX8. What happened to all the great handling sporty cars with the backseats. (please dont' bring up the genesis =).

the size of my S is my greatest assest, i never have to drive anywhere!
... and it's a good gauge on what size woman should be getting into my car. Once it's lowered, it will be a 2-way check.
