$1328/year.
full coverage including under/uninsured
50K/100K/50K
$100 limit for towing, $30 a day for rental for 30 days
1 car---20 mile round trip daily driver work/school
1 accident 5 yr. history
Charlotte NC
mediocre credit

KEMPER auto and home!!!!

I got run over by a drunk driver in 11/2004, hit-and-run. Kemper filed it under my uninsured motorist coverage. tendered the whole 50K policy limit within 4 months. I absolutely LOVE this company.

How old are you guys? I'm married, 27 with a good record (one ticket), good credit, in Charlotte, NC and pay about $600 for the '05 S2K. We have a multicar policy, but the two cars combined are less than $1050.

We pay (every 6 mos):
$310 for our '05 Civic Hybrid
$290 for our '04 Odyssey
$311 for our '02 S2000

That is for my wife and I...married, 3 kids, 36 years old (wife is 37)...Geico in Fredericksburg, VA area.

Hmmmm.....I use state farm and my rates keep going down. I went from $180/mo. to $130/mo. I'm 23 with a semi-good record.

rates vary from state to state also. check for where your state ranks on the list, from most to least expensive.

I'd jump on anything around 150$ a month. After another 6 months I get my only two points off my record since it's been 3 years, perhaps I'll have better luck after that.

Married, no tickets (neither of us), 39 years old, good credit. So why is insurance so high?

Blame it on a state with mandatory insurance requirements and hoards of uninsured motorists.

check the list. nj isnt even on it. it's off the charts!
