glad to hear all is well, sucks about yor car, but that can be replaced. I'm surprised it happened at all. If you were stopped making a right then you should have been able to get off the gas and countered once ou felt the rear slide. Was this your first rwd?

Correct, this is S2Ki.....however grammar and spelling will get you much further in life, and will also build your credibility on this site

People are not picking on you for your use of English, they are calling you out because you posted that the accident was the minivan's fault. I think it has been shown repeatedly that the S2000 spun out into traffic - the minivan just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Please continue to enjoy S2Ki, but realize that you might not fully understand what is being posted - or - you cannot fully state what you mean to in type. Just slow down and try to either better comprehend what is being said or type a post that will better convey what you are trying to say.

No harm no foul this time - just advice for the future

The driver side airbag didn't even deploy, and yes there is a passenger side air bag. I think they didn't deploy because this was a rearend accident..and they only deploy in frontal accidents?
Thats correct. Neither airbag deployed.

Are you planning to purchase another S or a "safer" car?
As much as I loved it.. I don't plan on purchasing another S. Just to small IMO. I'm more into the comfortable drive. I plan on purchasing an 00-02 Audi S4, which were my plans before the S..

Thank you all for the support and the comments about the accident. I Haven't driven since the accident, but will sometime soon. I know that the accident was 100% MY fault, not the driver of the van. I have had this car for over a year so I am not fairly new to driving this vehicle. I have driven it plenty of times in the rain, and have had the tires spin like that before, but I have never had the car spin out like that. I don't believe I had do something wrong... Or had I??

What are you planning on driving while the Audi is in the shop?

It will be interesting if the new 06 with VSA will help eliminate these tendencies. My 03 has been pretty squirmy in very little rain. I have 13k miles on the car and the tires so it is probably time to replace the rears tires.

Stop judging people for their writing abilities or inabilities this site, its for S2000 enthusiast

I'm not here for english.com....... please stop criticizing, and go to a writing website

short of just typing letter with out any meaning .... oiejnvnbo bnbnbnbn nvnvjjv and making no comprehendable sentance, leave people alone

if you have the need to correct things or point out wrongs... send a PM. Thier engish skiil might be short ... maybe they can drive.

So you can write... maybe you have trouble driving or shifting... no one is mocking you for that

be nice.....
You are right. Sometimes we are a little harsh on some folks for their English skills.

It is readily apparent that you are not a native English speaker and I am sure your command of English is much better than our command of your native language.

Sometimes we forget this is an international site.

You could use the spell checker, though.

How's your tire tread and pressure? Tread looks okay in the pics but hard to tell for sure.

I would think that VSA would help with these issues significantly. My understanding that it is Vehicle Stability Assist with tratction control so it should help quite a bit.
