S2k or SI?
the question is comparing apples to oranges.
i dont consider a SI to be on the same tier as a s2000 in terms of a sport car, DD, or a car in general.
i dont think they are comparable. 2 totally different cars built for different purposes. how you use them is up to you.
i DD with my s2000 and run into the following problems
1. lack of space to carry lots of luggage
2. not bad...but certainly not good MPG
3. bumpy ride
but i dont think the s2000 was designed to be DDed.
and the same with the SI.
simply, not a touge monster like the s2000.
im talkin STOCK vs STOCK

I've driven an 04 rsx-s and the 07 si. The si is the newer car with more gadgets but the design of the car is quite bad compared to the overseas versions. The rsx is simply to me the better looking car. Sleeker design. Windshield isn't 3 feet in front of you like the si. Steering wheel is better. Doesn't feel like an suv stock. It felt like the si was an suv when i first drove it.
So i sold the si and bought my newly accuired 00 s2000. I was smiling thee whole 8 hour drive home

Therefore, please don't knock us for driving a FWD.
I think each drivetrain (FWD, RWD, AWD) possesses its own unique characteristics, and enjoy driving them all.

FWD is wonderful. All that amazing power understeer! So much fun!
Oh, and the wonderful weight balance too. Placing the vast majority of the weighty mechanicals at the front!
And did I mention the tug-of-war between braking and traction when entering a corner??
FUN!

i bought a brand new 06 si when they 1st came out in jan/feb 06 and i loved the car, but always wanted an s2k. so in the summer of 08 had a great deal on a Rio 08 brand new so i traded in my si. i Daily drove the s for 5 months and ended up picking up a 1993 civic ex for $400 at my work been drivin it for 2yrs now, but now i want something a lil more comfy and something with more power. I really want either a Rallye red si sedan or a taffeta white sedan and sell the 93. So Basically for the money with all the features you get and ride quality and very comfy you cant beat the si. and basic boltons make it really fun, but not as fun as the s.

It's a LOT more forgiving than RWD!
When I push my Honda Prelude in the corners it always understeers predictably. The S2000 is prone to oversteer suddenly if you aren't prepared for it.
I would keep the S2K. My friend has an 09 SI and while he enjoys it, has been thinking of getting a different car for DD. He just bought a new 2010 M3. I think he wants a DD that is more powerful than the SI. Guess he is spoiled by the M3. I told him to SC it.
