It's better than talking nonsense. That is not why we are here.
The level of vagueness in those sentences exceeded my brain power.

Man I remember being so excited about all Hondas sporty cars around 2000 before I could afford a car over $3,000.
in the year 2000 we had:
1. Acura Integra GSR
2. Acura Integra Type R
3. Civic Si coupe in Electron Blue Pearl (best looking Si IMHO)
4. Honda Prelude base and Type SH
5. Honda Accord V6 Coupe (My ex GF had one, nice car back then)
6. Newly released S2000!
7. NSX
Now we just get a 200 hp Civic Si. Woohoo, Honda.

With the exception of the CRX-Si that they dropped, they had the best line up at that point.
I wonder when we will see such cars again. But the FA5/FG2 is an improvement over the EP3 hatch, although I'd prefer the EP3 body style over the current Coupe/sedan.

Agreed... as long as you do your homework, a used WRX/STi/Evo will be really reliable but offer so much more than an Si.
The chances of an Evo to last not 300k miles, but 150k miles free of engine issues are as slim as me winning a $100 mln lottery

You don't buy an Evo for the reliability. You buy it because you can't drive a car without a computer aiding you.EDIT- I wanted to add it is nice to see your company staying afloat in such a tough industry (bridges) during these tough economic times.
Keep it civil guys.
Its only an online forum and everyone is free to express their opinion. I have a neighbor that thinks his Z4 is superior and my S2000 is not quite as sporty as his car. Do I care - NO.
The point I'm trying to make is people will always something contrary to what you believe. Accept it and enjoy the discussion. The Evo and the other cars mentioned as comparison to the Si are all great cars. I bought the Si because I liked it and it continues to thrill me, so Im happy. People saying FWD sucks or that the Si is
wont make me sell the car tomorrow. Its just their $0.02 and one has to take it FWIW.

But to each his/her own, since everyone has a different opinion

The other poster mentioned the Accord V6 and I'd agree with that choice for a dd type of car that can still give you performance off the track
I made that post.
