S2K torsion stiffness figures

Default S2K torsion stiffness figures

Anywhere I get these? Like BMW E46 Sedans are rated around 16000Nm/degree I think. Also, how do they obtain these figures? TIA

Cmon.. anyone?? We hear so often about how stiff the S2K chassis is... need to quantify.

I'm not positive that this is how they do it, but CAD software with finite element analysis does this type of stuff. You can create a structure then put on a load and see how much it will deform and the stresses throughout the structure. Examples of software are Pro/Mechanica and Cosmos. I used Cosmos in school to find the amount of bending on an airplane wing- cool stuff.

It's in the 15,000+ range I think. I forgot the exact numbers, but I have seen them posted somewhere before.
