s2k is it worth it?
with everyone.I give it >95% chance you'll be in over your head.
You do know the car eats tires, right?
I give it >50% chance there'll be a "money shift" and a floated valve in the future if the car is purchased... regardless of MY.
Or maybe a drifting exhibition into a large rock....
yea i gotta agree with every1 else here unless your parents are paying for the car and insurance, your gonna get screwed with financial problems. My parents just told me i gotta pay my own gas cuz of how much i drive but yea......its your call dude we are just giving you our opinions

well im new here and ive been stuck on this question for lil while now....im wondering if i should or shouldnt get an s2k...do u guys think its really worth the money? my dad wants me to pay for half my insurance, my 6 month he said if i get it..is gonna be 2000 bucks -_- i got like 3 speeding tickets...and i only make like 700 to 800 a month and im putting 3500 down on a 19995 03 s2k....since i only make a certain amount, and have to pay for insurance...do u think the car is worth it considering id be spending about 500-600 dollars alone on my car?....i know this sounds pretty stupid...but i need some opinions..thanks
Considering your driving record and income, spending that much money on a car every month is a very bad financial decision. I recommend you buy a more affordable car (lots of nice cars are available without the S2Ks insurance overhead), and go back to school to improve your English language "skillz". Then you will be able to get a better job, get a nicer car, a nicer girl friend, and eventually move away from Mommy and Daddy.
You need to get better advice because your cousin is obviously an idiot who knows very little about cars; facts are, the S2K is historically one of the most reliable cars in the world.

You will only get more speeding tickets driving the S2000, pushing your insurance even higher. You will get stuck between a rock and a hard place with your car taking so much of your income and will end up hating it.

ing stupid reply, or you were just joking, because as an owner of an '02 that has gotten plenty of hard driving track miles I can assure you your cuz does not know shitt about the S2000.
im 18, dont do it, worst decision of your life. think about it, you go to to high school right after school you go to work, get stuck there till 10. go home do your homework exhausted and another day of school. 5 days in a row. the weekend comes around, oh wait you have a 12 hour shift on both days than you can go out and play. as a senior in high school you need to have some fun. sure its a sweet ride to go back and forth from school work and home but thats where it stops. i made a 5 year contract so yeah i screwed myself. It sure is a fun ride home and back
all in all dont do it, take it from someone whos been there. Everything I had and everything i am going to have went into this car. Its to the point that i want a hatch again
. i was really looking into a fit ever since i got my first speeding ticket and court is just around the corner next week. If i lose my lisence, I lose my job and transportation. dont put yourself in a spot just because of a nice shiny car. If you do decide to do itjust think of it this way...at least it wasnt a brand new MY06
ok its 245 and i cant sleep and i have school tomorrow and work so im going to head to bed.
hope that gives you an insight on how a car isnt eveyrthing to life
it is a sweeeet car !!!!!
