I'm planning on putting an SC on by early next year or late this year. I've always wanted to have nitrous though, not only for its drop of .2-.4 in the 1/4, but also for the AWE factor If one puts on a SC such as the comptech or more likely for me, the vortech kit, is it possible to still have a small shot of wet NOS? The kit i'm looking at is a 35shot of direct port available from nitrous express. Any opinions?? Thnx!

Sure it's possible, anything is possible if you have the Franklins. Check out the June '02 Super Street mag, it's got Larry Chachko's ride in it and it's S/C and on the juice (dry set-up). He owns Body Werks in Skokie Il, call him...

A 35 wet shot on a SC'ed S2000 should work fine (and nicely). Larry had a 100 dry shot (according to his own post on s2ki), and that's pretty dumb. Someone on the board said he ended up blowing his motor recently...but this has not been confirmed.

But, once you strap 100 extra whp on your car, you don't really yearn for that extra 35 HP right away. Don't do nitrous just because you want it...make sure it's really the best solution to what you want. Shoot, throw a 4.44 gear on the car and drop half a second for $910.

yeah me and my boss is gonna install NOS this Thursday and he's got the comptech supercharger. he's adding a 30 shot only though
