Should i?
I have an ap2 but I think my observations are universal to our cars for the most part.
The tiny cabin fills with heat very quickly, not to mention the motor makes heat after just a few minutes.
I can get 30mpg on the highway.
Service costs are not too bad and WAAAAAYYY better than my G35.
Also keep in mind the car has proven to be very reliable so there will be less unexpected trips to the dealer.
Lastly, this car is for those committed to driving a small/fast/nimble car. It does not pretend to anything it is not. This is in no way meant as a complaint but it's a noisy, rough ride. On cold mornings, the shifter is stubborn, the suspension very stiff and the oem tires love to slide around. You love it or hate it. I usually.....usually love it.
Lets see if I can help1
-Is the cabin cold in winter? What are the heaters like? I own a VX220 now and the cabin is too cold which is one of the main reasons im deciding to get rid!!!
Yes the heaters work pretty darn good once the car has warmed up!
- What to look out for on really early models....lookin to buy a 99 or 00 model.
The early models tend to run a bit richer then '02 and above but you can swap the ECU to fix that. Also the rear window in early cars were thin plastic that creases and yellows. This too can be changed!
- what are servicing costs like?
Parts are a little more then a typical Honda, but not anywhere near an NSX. Also these cars are rock hard reliable like most other Honda models!
- What MPG do you ppl achieve?? states about 29mpg... whats the real damage?
I daily drive mine and get on the throttle regularly and I still average between 22mpg and 26mpg
- Whats that screen in the dash?????
This would be the navigational unit that is found in JDM cars
Hope this helps

Cheers for the replies.
Unfortunately i found that the car is an import
Meaning insurance company would have my eyes out
So the only real issue is the plastic window? Will look out for that!!
The search continues...
