Should the S2000 have a Corvette engine?
For some people, the car that makes them happy doesn't exist! Take Ferry Porsche for example, nothing out there at the time satisfied his idea for a sports car so he built his own.
Perhaps the car a certain person doesn't exist for them because it is too expensive, too much of a compromise due to road regs, wrong engine sound, whatever. Plus, a lot of people love the idea of customising their own car!
I for one have removed the Euro headlamp washers, and added some Rick's interior parts to give it more of a US spec look

Those headlamp washers are pretty ugly, Robin. Clearly an afterthought by the engineers, or perhaps just the only stuff Honda had in the parts bin. Good move removing them.
Are there any regulations in your area that require them? Would you have to put them back on when your car is inspected?

Putting a Corvette engine in an S2000 would create an imbalance due to the engine weight. Not having a close to a 50/50 weight balance would destroy performance other than straight line acceleration. I'll stay with what I got, thanks.
