Thanks for all the replies guys, looks like I've opened a can of worms! The reason I asked was part of my Burtman dash kit doesn't fit on the drivers door window switch surround because of the raised section surrounding the security switch!

They told me I need to either cut the ally piece that goes on this part or file down the raised section that goes around it!

Either way I'm not That impressed considering the price it cos me!

they difinitely know about htis:
1. they're long enough in the business
2. few months ago i personally emailed them pictures of my raised thing to clarigy whtehr their kit fits it.

never got answer.......

If you accidentally press it, it will cause you to immediately post up on S2KI about your passenger power window not working.
