Are those 07 wheels powder coated in gunmetal? If so I think I just soiled my pants!
Hottness on wheels.
I would love to have AP2 wheels powder coated gunmetal on my Sebring Silver
Give that man a blow up doll.
They are 07, but I thnk these are my AP2V2. I also have a set of AP2V1.
Cannot tell from this picture which they are.
Thanks for the kind words now go get some TP will ya.
I have been meaning to do this. I did it to all of my motorcycles that I had and IMO I think it makes the car/bike look much cleaner, but again its all about personal taste.

Got a tool at the parts store(auto zone) just for that. Cant for the life of me think of the name of it though. body man told me about it. One end looks like a pencil eraser, only bigger. the other end went in my drill. Worked like a charm and removed every bit of the adhesive without as much as a scuff.
im willing to try anything now. ill try to ask autozone..
At NAPA there is some $15 cleaner made by 3M. It's in a fairly large white square can with red lettering (sorry I can't remember exactly what it's called). I have never seen it at Autozone, Advance, or O'Rileys. Just ask for 3M adhesive remover. They should know what's up.
It's some very strong stuff but won't hurt paint. It made the removal of pin stripes off of a 93 Del Sol cake! I'm sure it would be great for this.
I did it, but added classic Honda badges in its place. Not having black outlines helps a lot for the looks. It takes a while, but just be patient and keep working it, and you'll eventually get it clean.

OK everyone laughs when I tell them to use Creamy Peanut butter.
It works, just put it on and let is sit over night.
The oil does what it does and the peanuts act as an abrasive.
Thats how I did mine, and I bet you have some on hand, so the cost is zip.
I did it and it looks way better. I had a ghosting effect after and when I claybared the car it went away. I'd do it again for sure too!! Makes the car easier to wash too
well after seeing pictures and removing my front and rear badges for ricks replacments i came to the conclusion that this is not the oem adhesive. My best guess is that its super glue... so the new plan is just to buy side emblem replacements and recover the glue residue....
