very nice idea and write up...im gonna do the same now....i just put my stock intake back on since im in god damn Texas and its pouring here. I hate Texas, cant wait to move back to Cali...no more humid weather and no more flooding...and i can finally drop the top when its sunny outside without sweeting like crazy ...lol

I have an AEM V2 intake, havent owned the car long enough to know if it will become a problem but mine has a hole at the low point of the elbow parallel to the ground, looks like it either came like that or someone with some skills managed to debur the inside and outside of the hole without scratching the paint... Ill post a pic when we get the car up in the air later today. When i found that hole i was very confused

If you read some of the other posts - other owners are saying they have the hole with a plug in it, appears to be a drainage hole for when the elbow is full of water
