Default Soft Top Adjustment???

Hi folks,
Just bought a '00 S2000, and the wind noise is pretty bad... if I pull down on the handle for the top, things get noticeably quieter.

How can I go about tightening up the fit of the top? The forward windshield weather stripping looks fine, it's just the top that isn't tight enough as far as I can tell.

Oh, and on a side note: where the hell's the clock ???

There was a fix for the softtop rattling when you are at highway speeds. Don't know if it works for just wind noise. Honda replaced the top latches with the ones from the hardtop. I had it done on my '01 under warrantee--don't know if it still applies to an '00. The radio for the '00 didn't have a clock. You could swap in an '01 or later radio for the clock (the later radios --after '01--have better power).

I found the same exact thing (holding down the handle) but haven't found a fix yet.

The first thing I'd check is the striker that is bolted to the windshield frame. Is it worn where the hook goes? If yes this will lessen the tension on the roof.

You can fix this without new strikers. I finally figured it out after some research... let me see if I can find the thread.
