The Solstice Invasion
NICE GIRL'S CAR!!! Now if they'd just put an automatic in the damn thing the women will flock to it.
I too hope GM does well with these as they need a boost in sales. As they saying is "so goes GM, so goes America". We (all of us) need a boost to the economy right now and if it's up to women of America to buy one of these things then that's fine with me, just so they sell.
I don't ever see a real sports car competing with either of these GM roadsters. They just don't have it.

I'm still giving it a thumbs up though.
Not too impressed with the Solstice, but I hope it sells well. It only benefits the roadster segment (competition)...
I'm excited to see the Saturn in person though. It looks pretty cool.

As for the top up from behind, if you go to pontiac.com and look in their photo gallery, they have one with a good rear shot showing how the top and the trunk mesh with the top up. I like it, personally, I think the trunk/top design would have done wonders for the S... Make the trunk reach to the back of the seats and hide the top under there when closed... Nice engineering on hiding the top, I say.

I hope they do spectacularly well. I'd far prefer a proliferation of roadsters to the current SUV craze, or the 4-door attempt at a sports car idea. If GM gets the drivetrain right, they have a winner on their hands (especially with the Saturn Sky's styling). No need for some elitist, "my roadster is better than yours" sentiment here. I think it's great to see more options in the segment.

A question I have is: Why put 3 cup holders in a car that seats 2 people?
