Until he find's the letter here are some pointers before taking delivery:
1. Make sure they take out the spring spacers. These are rubber pieces that are placed in-between the springs during shipment.
2. Make sure they have all the slats on the fronts of the wheels. These are the black looking skirts that look like mud guards, but reside in the front of the wheel instead of the back. If this doesn't make sense, take a look in the gallery area at some of the front views of some S2000 pics.
3. Make sure the dealership shows you where the fuel release button is. There is nothing like spending a few hours at a gas pump trying to figure out where it is.
4. Make sure the dealer show's you where the 'ALL' the compartments are (including the secret one)
5. Do not push the hood down. It is aluminum, it will dent. Drop the hood from a distance of 6" to 1 foot to close it.
6. Check the Oil.... Check the Oil... Check the Oil... I cannot stress this point the most. This car will consume oil during its break in period. (see #7)
7. Do not VTEC (go about 6,000 RPM) until you pass 600 miles.
8. And most important... ENJOY.
There is much more information available here about what to do and what NOT to do with your car.
