No one pulls out in front of me.
My insurance is slightly cheaper than the silver I was considering (05 also with similar mileage)
I always stand out on S2k drives, especially in the pictures.
I've been pulled over in it, I can only blame my right foot for having to much fun.
I have owned 4 S2000s: a NFR, 2 Silverstones and my current Spa. The Spa has received more compliments and had more stares by passersby than the other 3 combined. And on the road there is no mistaking a Spa or Rio as anything but an S2000. At a distance I have mistaken Sebring Silver or Silverstone S2000s as .......dare I say...........a Chrysler Sebring.
Nice. Thanks guys.
Yea.. Yellow looks good the more I look at it. I've seen a few on the road since I posted this and it surely does stand out. =)
Only thing is the car is from out of state but we'll see how it works out. Time to send my offer to the seller!
I notice a RIDICULOUS difference. I usually don't look at other people when I drive, but when I'm trying to turn into traffic or someone's making a left and I'm the first at the stoplight, everyone turns their heads to look. I'm guessing the red seats make it even pop out more.
In her Berlina, still lots of people stare, but not as many. It's a different story when she drives her car tho.
After driving a yellow car, I've noticed that I notice yellow cars immediately as they come into sight.
I also noticed that it depends on where you live. We drove to TN/GA to buy a Fit, and drove the GF's Berlina, and EVERYONE was staring. I guess in DFW there are more roadsters.

assuming you drive both your car and your girls car, do you notice a difference in attention from driving a yellow s2k to driving a black s2k?
Attention, from personal history:
Spa top down > Spa top up > BB with HT > NFR top down > NFR top up
I think top up/top down makes a huge difference, obviously. It also depends on where you're driving. By the university, Spa was a frequently-noticed color; BB and NFR were not. In the greater silicon valley, BB gets the most looks.
Spa is an uncommon color, and it's even LESS common that shades of yellow look that good on stock cars. Thus a Spa will stand out, but going on my personal experience, not a whole lot more than others.
