That's one of the symptoms, RSX. But, there are many, many reasons for a CEL... First of all, check your gas cap. If that's not it, get thee to thine dealer!

 

I'm bringing my car in tmw. either way. I hope it's the gas cap....because the CEL reappeared like 5 times already.

 

If they sent out 20,000 letters does that mean we will get 20,000 folks posting here to say they got their letter. PLEASE NO, NO, NO. Yes, I got mine today as well. I knew you'd want to know.

 

That's good, RSX. If you've had a recurring CEL, it's probably not the fuel cap. Could be MAP sensor or other things. I actually hope it's not the plug issue, because folks on the board have posted before that the CEL light could mean it's already "too late."

Anyway, hope it goes well.

I got my letter in the mail yesterday. I figured I'd be one of the first ones to get it since my S2K is one of the first MY2000 ones.
