ChrisD will be running the same setup that I'm currently running so he doesn't need to worry about messing with the compression. Unless of course, he's a junkie like me and always needs more boost.

derryk,

i assume this would void your warranty... have you noticed any engine complications so far? have you had a chance to run your car on a dyno?

I think it's a safe assumption that this will void your warranty but it's a Honda. For dyno results http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View...&p=54605921&f=0

gaskets.. port & polish.. rebore.. race gas.. There's always room for more boost. You just gotta find it. For now I'll be sticking with the 260-320 whp.

I bet with nitrous, because of the cooling property, you could simultaneously run more boost. I bet that would be fun.....

Bad link btw derryck.

PS: Those parts sure are taking a long time to come in. I might have to run 7.5psi for a few weeks to get all this "alero" washed out of my system.

Chris, I don't think it take more than a few minutes to get that crummy Oldsmobile out of your system. Just turn the boost up to 8 psi and find the nearest C5.

So it's possible that with lower compression to 9.5:1 or 8.5:1 you can increase boost to say 14 or 16p psi or higher.
geesh... with only a 4-6psi the dyno is showing a little over 300rwhp, just think about 600 + rwhp. wow! that would make me do this -------->

Yes, with lower compression, you should be able to run more boost but I think you would start breaking things at that point. Probably drivetrain. At about 8 psi (320 RWHP) the car is extremely fast compared to stock. The back end will get away from you if you're not careful. I'm relatively sure that you will be able to run 10 psi, at least with a little race gas, which should put you over 350 RWHP.

Does anybody know what kind of horsepower the kit adds?
