That's right ...It doesn't matter what car you were in. But then you're the one that brought it up remember? Oh and it was someone else that informed you about the orange speedo. Read and learn. I told you in my county that it would be thrown out. If you want to cry and whine about your ticket then be my guest. If you can't own up to your traffic infractions and don't want the added cost of fines and insurance premiums, then the best advice you'll get anywhere is to slow the &^%$# down.
listen i don't know why we are fighting i asked for peoples opinion when a fellow member chimes in that has nothing to do with what im asking about then its not constructive. i'm sure if the same happened to you, you would react a simalar way i'm not looking to argue on the internet i am jus looking for helpful suggestions.

I've always had luck getting a local lawyer, pay the fine and lawyer fee, it all goes away. A bit expensive up front, but cheaper than letting the points hit your license and insurance. Good Luck!

I fight it speeding tickets every time. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. The first thing you should do is try to fight through trial by written declaration. You can just make up some stuff, the point is to try to get them to not respond and instawin. If you lose the trial by written declaration, you can request a trial de novo and have an in-person court hearing and you can go through the motions and also state that the officer didn't have you sign the ticket (not sure how it'll work, because I think it's just a promise to appear in court... there's no way you can ignore it I think and I think this varies from state to state, city to city).

Then why'd you post in S2000 Talk instead of Off Topic or Car Talk?

But thanks for your input.
