Believe it or not, I have it installed.
I am probably the only one to do it here in US.
You don't want to know the price of the Spoon's throttle body.
I have taken some pics and if you want I will put it up here later tonight.

Other than the price it is straight swap and comes with new gasket and install time only took 5 minutes.
I certainly feel the difference in acceleration and I am happy with it.
No problem that I encountered so far.
Good stuff but I think the best way is going with the ProFlow, can't touch that price.

I've done the Spoon way since I didn't want to wait and didn't want any down time sending my unit away.

If you want to know, the most expensive throttle body is made from MLS(Motor Life System) in Japan, and cost close to $1000, they call it big throttle body system but I haven't gathered the info as to what the exact spec is and different from other throttle bodies.
Spoon claims 6hp gain from their throttle body and though I haven't measured mine with dyno, it certainly feels about right.

Yes I would like you to, that would be great. You can tell me about the price of the Spoon TB. It's not going to scare me away. I'd rather do this than have my TB bored out. Somehow I just don't like the idea.

Did you match the intake manifold size?

From what I saw at spoons sight, it is a rebore also, and you need to return a core. I had someone translate it for me.

we sell the Spoon one at $675.00,no core.
Spoon offer ,mainly for the Japanese market,a core exchange at $240.00.
We sold 2 outright, more costly; but customers wanted to keep the stock one.

Is the spoon TB any different than a powerflow rebored stock TB?

I'd be curious to learn this also. There are already several good descriptions of the work done by Power-Flow. I'd like to do a TB hone/rebore also, but I too am interested in keeping the original TB. At a cost of $400 USD for a new TB, plus the $150 USD for the Power-Flow, we're up to $550. Can the SPOON be $125 better?

Thanks Giampiero. Hey did you get my address?

I think I'm going to go this way! $675.00 for a little piece of mind is worth it to me. Nothing against powerflow, but I think Spoon might have the tech edge here.
