The only swap I'd ever consider would be one that ups the redline significantly. That'd be worth talking about. Is there any engine out there that redlines higher than 9K?

I guess there are race engines that go higher, but those might simply be unobtainable. My goal would be to hit 11K RPM, even if it involved forced injection.. Dropping in a rumbling V8 just seems pointless to me.

Are there any crotch rocket bike engines that can get > 140lb-ft TQ sufficiently blown? That might be a way to go...

The K20 has good support from aftermarket companies too, maybe not quite as good as the F20, but you can certainly build a much faster NA engine if you wanted too ... Here's another Hondata dyno of an RSX-S with Toda cams and a big valve head:

Good luck with your swap! Make sure to post up your progress
Looks very similar to krazik's F20C.

The advantages: being able to use Hondata K-pro in a S2000 -

Not a complicated swap, no cutting or welding -SWEEEET!!!
It sounds like you've never seen how a K20 mounts in a car VS an F20C. Not to mention the completely different bellhousing pattern.

liek someone wsiad earlier it would be nice to get another high revving engine. higher than 9k. a motor from a rsx just sounds soooooooooooo lame. sorry. it may be a tad bit faster but its a boring swap.

i love the idea of swapping a rb26 into a s2k. of-course custom fab is a must, and you might have to move the firewall back to fit. but i haven't measure the size of the swap or the engine bay area to see whether it'll fit properly or not. ever consider a top mount and front mount ic as well? seen it done in a s15 and before and it looks sick.

ps. i'm also a fan of stoker kit. you can stoke it to rb30det or even possibly a rb32dett. just a suggestion. hehehe

I'd like to see one of the bike based V8s dropped into an S2000, or into an Elise/Exige. These engines are relatively new, and use bike based pistons and top ends, but with new cranks and blocks. There's at least two different V8s out of the UK. The displacement is usually pretty small, sub 3.0L, but they rev like crazy and make about 300hp.

Radical has a car powered by it already:

and a bit more about the motor here:

Downside - quite expensive.

How about the 3.7L V6 from the MDX ? 300hp and 275lbft of torque from the factory.

Keep the damn thing Honda FFS
