Default Stalling in the cold???

Im almost positive ive seen this post before, I tried searching but no results. So if anyone can help it would be appreciated as always.
The question: When its very cold out, I start my car and about 3-4 seconds later the car shuts off, if I wait a second and turn it back on its fine...anyone have any similar issues??? or do you know what the problem could be???

Yup, has been posted, NBD, has happened to a few peeps, including myself. Now that is it get'n cold, my S is parked in the garage with the one day a week i take it out for a good 40+mile run. Some things i have noticed about it......1) when i start car, it revs to maybe 2.5k, holds for a sec, then it will drop to the 1-1.5k range, and will sometimes stall out 2) It seems to drop revs then stall out about the same time i let the clutch back out, could just be lucky timing 3) When the RPM's drop to 1k, give the car a 'little' throtle blip, and it does not stall. Hope this helps/make ya feel better

It's always a possibility that it's the proverbial "MAP" sensor. Give it a few good thumps with your knuckle.
Most likely it's the car's ECU being confused by any changes in temp/humidity, etc. Let is stall and don't further confuse it by pressing on the gas pedal. After several start/stall cycles (maybe up to 1/2 doz.), hopefully it will "learn" and it will not do it again till next year at this same time.
