^ I think it was more for aesthetics then anything else. Many OEM single exhausts out there are totally silent.

Anyone singled up yet?

I am going to take out the mini-muffler in the next few weeks.

I like the look of the stock duals on the s2k. I'm a big fan of stock and/or quiet exhaust in general though. The way I see it is anything loud should be under thre hood

I think having a single exhaust stocking out one side and an empty hole where the other side SHOULD stick out would look kind of out of place. But then again if everyone liked the same things, we'd all be driving black model Ts just like Henry liked

version I'll be doing this soon. I ordered the single cap and once it's in I will be cutting the exhaust piping from the Y-Pipe and making it a single unit. Will post pics once done.

If you go single you can buy a exhaust cap to fill the blank hole. They look great. (imo) If I ever go single I will get a cap to fill the hole.

Yeah but not many 4 cyl are pushing 110-120hp/l reving to 8-9k.

You might be right though, asthetics and maybe even weight distribution. I'm sure a single would a little bit louder though.

I've never been in an integra type R, were those loud stock?

I know my 00 civic si was very wuss on the exhaust sound.

I am very interested to find out how this would work out! I am setting up my S2000 to be my track bitch, and less weight is more effective than more power. Even if it does not gain, as long as it does not lose power, I will do it too!

Dual = 2 exhausts
Duel = a battle

For those of you who are going to ditch one side...which side are you going to ditch? Typically (99% of the time from what I've seen) on single-exhaust vehicles, the exhaust seems to be on the side opposite the fuel door (maybe for less of a chance of gas splashing on the hot exhaust causing a fire??). Is that what most people do when they go from dual to single or...?
