stock dual to a "stock" single?
I was thinking the same thing the other morning when I looked at my stock exhaust. I was thinking of instead of just blocking off one side, cutting the y off entirely and then have piping welded to on of the stock mufflers so that the pipe size is the same all the way up to the muffler. Wonder if it really would be worth it (aside from sound.)

This is exactly what will be done to mine within a couple weeks. Sound will probably chan ge yes, but you'de also be loosing about 25lbs by removing one canister. Power gains.....probably not.
rubenwe are also doing this to my buds Ap1, i'll post up pics and vids.

version I'll be doing this soon. I ordered the single cap and once it's in I will be cutting the exhaust piping from the Y-Pipe and making it a single unit. Will post pics once done.
Got a link?
