Strut Tower Bars - How do they effect handling?
My Comptech STB made a little bit of difference. I bought it not expecting it to do anything 'cept for looks. I also have the Digrappa X-brace. IMO, the thicker front sway bar made the most difference(Comptech Adj.).
IMO
Shock Tower Brace
Lower x-brace:
Similar sort of benefits (in driver feel) to be had from both but the lower brace is much more noticeable to the driver.
STB has a big effect on most cars but is less noticeable on the S2000 due to it's already stiff chassis. That doesn't mean it doesn't work however. The S2000, as good as it is, (and like every other car on the planet) does has room for plenty of improvement in handling and responsiveness. These braces, and combination of braces, help that.
