UPS send me an email that my subwoofer would arrive tomorrow! Not bad, since it was on back order last Friday. I'll post my review when I get the thing installed. Has anyone else install the Clarion Subwoofer?

 

I'd like to hear some more confirmation that the Clarion fits without raising the seat and you get full range motion from the seat. I looked closely at it and it looked too big to both me and a pro installer I consulted.

Any actual Clarion-equipped owners here?

 

Is anyone going to install the Honda stock subwoofer on the STOOK?

 

I'm eagerly awaiting some reviews of both the stock Kelton unit and this Clarion unit as well so when any of you guys complete your install please let us know how they sound!

The clarion does NOT fit...
This morning I took the passenger seat out and tried every different angle to get that thing in there and have the rails still line up.. Not gonna happen- I did take apart the clarion, and I think I'm just going to attach the 6.5 to the bottom of the seat. The little amp in there is only like 5in x 4in, so I know that it'll fit. I'm saving that project for this weekend and will post results.

BTW - The Sony 450 MP3 deck (From Pinky) rocks, it's only halfway installed right now, but having 167 songs on one CD kicks major ass.
