I just dropped my car at Honda for installation of my new FREE soft top with a glass rear window. The service tech said they only come with glass now. That's good for me. I'll take the couple of extra pounds to be able to see.

Congrats Terd! What approach did you use to bend them? It's funny that the Honda Tech would tell you they don't make the plastic anymore since I just got mine less than a month ago. Enjoy your success and share your experience.

I got my car back the other day with the new top. The window is plastic. I guess they were wrong when they told me they only came in glass. But, its brand new and it looks great. There's no more hole and I can finally see out the back.

A NEW plastic window sure is purty isn't it... Put some static cling tint on the window terd, then you can see where the scratching will occur and then you can just tint from that point down.

I've already got it. The dealer told me it was going to be glass, but it turned out to be plastic. I can't really complain. After all, it was free.

I had the same tear problem with my top. I got American Honda to pay for 50% and I'm getting the glass window. It'll only cost $800-900. I just need to make an appointment to get it replaced. Will let all know how it goes. I'm really excited. Can't wait to see a new top with glass.

It appears that the glass window top won't fit on a my00. They say that no one has made any kits for it. I'm so
