yeah man i really want the sk2 now it's just bad ass.... top down.... nice looks.... seems like it has a good engine noise thingy w/e. i will be 18 yes when i get the car... i would probably want it in black.... that's the thing also.. here in miami.. there are too many civis and acuras and celicas and mustangs... mustangs are fast yes... like the cobra but.. there can't be nuttin compared to the s2000. i haven't yet got a chance to drive one... well the shit is that... i yet don't know how to drive a manual car yet only automatic lol im close to turning 17 in april... so i think i should practice manual cars before getting a manual car? yeah... i had a accident in california when i was young i sued the school. i got a pretty good amount of money... and my brother knows alot of people and is mad smart... so were gonna put a ato shop up... and he said i can chose a car and the shop will pay it... and that i'll just work daily in my own shop and have money to pay it monthly man you know why i got hooked on the sk2? lol cuz of that movie fast and the furios tan's or yan's lol w/e sk2 the black one w00t smoking the jetta. and i thought the veilside body kits were off da chain... do you know of a store online to see JUST products for the sk2? that would be sweet to look at? and are you a sk2 owner? well i hope any1 here knows this but... how much do you think will cost to put a fexhaust setup w/e.... and cold air intake.. and the simple basic stuff headers... how much would that cost? to be put on the sk2? and how much would it gain? please some opinions... thanks g's

Hi Jon,

No opinion one way or the other about you getting an S. I don't have one myself yet but I wish you well on what ever you decide.

My only request of you is, if you do buy an S2000, would you mind posting what your insurance payments turn out to be? When I was 18, no way could I affort a 35k automobile but even if I could have, insuring it would have been out of the question and I had a clean driving record at the time.

Good luck!
Steve R.

holy crap ! Youre gonna be 18 and driving a S2K did you check what your insurance is gonna be a year I mean i wish you luck cuz the S2K is an awesome car, i love it and i often smile behind the wheel endlessly but call around on insurance. I remember when i was 21 i couldnt even afford a VW Corrado on the insurance, let alone a convertible! 2-Seater convertibles tend to be higher on insurance than a convertible with a backseat. See if you can get the car under your brothers or parents insurance, then it might not be as bad

i guess i'm portly at 5' 10" 175. oops off topic.

btw: jon, you'd be one lucky guy to get the s that soon. you should have at least some driving experience. get a beater manual civic and drive that for a year. you should be set as long as you take it easy on the s.

and your spelling sux.
you shouldn't go around insulting people like you do... you being one of the youngest/newest members and as a good portion of the members here are around twice your age. and obviously for common courtesy's sake.
