1. You need insurance to drive the car off the lot. So to answer your question "someone is gonna get the s2000 and right away have insurance for it?" Yes someone will, actually the thousands of members that are here on s2ki with S2k's had insurance for theirs when they got the S.

2. What makes you so sure that the shop is gonna work out? I'm sure there are hundreds of shops in Miami and 1/2 of those don't make it. You might have a couple customers but its a risky business and not a good plan to say once it makes it you'll get insurance.

3. Do you have a job? Seems like you don't and you're just relying on your bro's shop. Not a good idea. If you do have one then my bad for my assumption. But if you don't then thats a good place to start.

4. An S doesn't seem like a good car for you right now. You're attitude towards the whole insurance thing gives me the idea that you are a very immature 16 year old. With an immature mind you'll do immature things and that won't mix well with getting a car such as an S. You may not think you will, but once your with your friends you will be showing it off and eventually put yourself and others at harm. But oh wait.... you won't have insurance to cover you so that means that not only will you lose the S but you will be drowned in lawsuits.

I never thought I'd have to use this feature but you're going on my ignore list. I feel bad for the Miami S2k guys if you do end up with one and go to their meets.

I don't own an S2k I currently have a prelude. I registered (soon to become a member) on s2ki because their community is a great one and it's members are knowledgeable and great people. Coming onto a board and calling the members and owners stupid is not the way to go. I show respect to the members/owners and think anyone who is not a member/owner and doesn't currently have an S should do so aswell.

fine fine im sorry i apologize for being rude and stuff... but the fact of the matter is... im 16 just trying to look for some info. i see that the honda sk2 is a great automobile i just wanted to see what the world of sk2 owners suggestions and opinions can be like... see a glipse of what i can be able to have and some suggestions... i browsed this site alot already i enjoyed very much the pictures and i love the videos you have available to stream. i don't know much about cars what can i do? i just don't have the age for it... but it's a good time to start... i aksed questions... i get nice comments... and some good feedback... but there are people that are just plain rude... no matter the age. It's not cool to be run like that, just because i don't know what im talking about... in some factors. im just sorry for what i said... i just got some bad responses making fun of me... it's ok... i apologize. If you read from the start you will see that i asked simple questions... and i started getting bad feedback...

but anyways im sorry to all the members here in this forum

OK, to answer your question about insurance....if you have a car with full coverage on the policy, they will insure the new vehicle that you buy with the same coverage for a few days (I'm told up to 30) until you insure it.

No need to get all defensive/offensive due to one bad post. I'm gonna close this thread so things can start over fresh.

Once again, welcome to the board.
