The S2000 is pretty good, but if you've got $35,000.00 in your budget, you'd be better off buying a Prelude. I know where you can pick up a spotless Brittany Blue Green Pearl VTEC Prelude for just $34,500.00.

Fake insurance is is okie dokie as long as you only have fake accidents.

Just get into a little hundred thousand dollar liability claim and see how good the fake insurance is.

Unless you believe that insurance companies can't afford attornies or they were born yesterday.

You're brother sure is smart getting everyone fake insurance.

What kind of shop? Chop?

By the way, the 'Lude is on sale today only for $32,999.99 and it comes with extra wheels and snow tires too. You'll be sorry if you pass this one up. It is a collector's item. Under 60,000 miles on the odometer by the way. PM me if you're serious about buying it while it's on sale. It even has a 6 CD changer, a brand new (still in the box) Honda front bra, and a battery warmer, brand new battery, brand new ultra car cover, engine block heater AND a tow hitch. Serious buyers only.

Okay, so you're not interested in my Prelude. Just as well. I'd have to find a new tow vehicle for my ATV anyway, if you did buy my 'Lude.

Given your approach to insurance, why not just get the car of your dreams. Don't settle for some 35G beater. Go for some really high class transportation.

Here's the rig I'd get, if I were you. I don't think you'll have too much to worry about at a traffic stop.

if you are going to wait till you are 18 and you are 16 now, i'd rather wait to see what is in the market for 35g's in 2006

just my opinion

People who do this "fake insurance" stuff are the reason we all pay high insurance rates.

Pathetic.

Just wanted to pipe in for a second here. Being relatively new here myself, I don't want to jump on anyone right away. . . but "fake" insurance??

Jon, didn't you mention earlier that you'd gotten a significant amount of money from settlement on an accident? Something tells me someone's insurance paid for that settlement. If ever in the event you are in an accident and were to hurt someone, would your family simply cover the medical bills, property damage, and law suit? Your entire family could be in financial ruin because you didn't get proper insurance.

I hate paying my insurance. I think its a ripoff. I have been driving for nearly 10 years, accident free, ticket free, claim free. I still pay nearly $3000/yr. on my S. However, if in the event anything ever happens, I'm covered 100%. Trust me, don't go driving around without insurance.

Good luck with deciding on a car. You are in a very fortunate position to have such choices early in life, don't take the risk of losing everything just to get out of paying insurance.

Just my 2 cents.
