Default Suprisingly Good Day In Service....

Took my car in earlier this week to have them check a leak I was getting aroudn the soft top, and they told me they would need to replace the latches and strikers. I called in today, and the parts arrived, so I took it in. Shortly after I checked in, I asked the service manager if I could get a car to run up the street to the gas station and buy some smokes. He looked around a little bit, then pulled his keys out of his pocket and let me take his personal car!!! After the work was done, I was signing the papers, and he told me they also greased all the seals around the HT (put it on this morning) and also ordered me two new latches for the HT since those still felt loose when latching! He said he would call me as soon as the parts came in, and it would take less than an hour to get it done! Drove to work, and no more squeaks ( they were unbearable on my way there this morning) and the soft top latches very nicely now! He let me try the latches before putting the HT back on so I could approve of it!

I am very happy right now, and really havent had any problems, but this was just over and beyond the call of duty, esp for letting me use his personal car!

Just wanted to share
John

Maybe you would like to name this dealership. I'm sure with service like that it would attract a lot of other ppl from these forums.

They do great work. When I used to live in the area, I used to take my car there and always get great service! Otherwise, Randy's Imports in Waukesha is another great place to go. He will do great work, often times at a lot better price than the dealerships. He will always be straight with you and not try and pull anything.

Thats actually what they did, but when i took it in earlier this week, they noticed the latches were loose too, and there was no tension when latching the soft top, and the hard top is still doing it, so thats why they ordered another set of latches!
