Are cold air intake systems worth the money? If so, how much do they improve performance, i.e., how much of an increase in horsepower do they provide?
Thanks in advance.

They don't do a huge amount to increase horsepower in ideal conditions, but in hot, humid conditions with stop starttraffic they can make a decent difference. Simple options are the Snorkles (Spoon, Muz, etc). These just feed cold air into the stock airbox. Otherwise you've got thing slike the Comptech and K&N which may or may not qualify as CAIs. And then there is the AEM and copies which draw air in from the right front of the fender. It's cold, but it can also be wet.

BTW, there are ten billion CAI threads.
