i removed mine then didnt like being able to see my audio through the window, so I *modified* it and put it back again.

I basically cut the whole center section out and covered it in a sheer fabric. I dont get any rattles any more, and still has some great air passage for the sub.

Wow that looks awesome. I'll bet getting that tray back in was a huge pain. I haven't have much luck with the plastic pin fasteners on the S2K.
