I almost did this once. It was 65 degrees in the Sierra's and I drove up to go snowboarding. I had the top down because I couldn't resist the ambiance of fresh mountain air and snowcaps on rolling curving highway 80 from Sacramento toward Reno. When I got close to the ski resorts, it was fairly cold and I thought about putting on my goggles because my contacts were drying out, but the fear of the geekness factor made me choose form over function. It was still a beautiful drive.
up!
About the windshield tape, I think the S2000 looks great with the tape off, but only when the top is down. I decided to leave my windshield tape on because I'm going for a black hardtop in the future. I'm trying to get a whole black/white color scheme going - carbon fiber hood, black hardtop, gunmetal rims. But, for those who wanted to see a real picture of a non-black S2000 with a black hardtop, here's a good one I found at Honda-Tech. He has the same color scheme that I'm going for, but his S2000 is Spa Yellow Pearl.
Those black wheels are UGLY. One mans opinion.
