Looks great with a matching hardtop but not so nice looking against a ragtop.

Had me laughing out loud on that one. I can picture a guy driving an S with the top down and snow whipping by wearing ski goggles.
I almost did this once. It was 65 degrees in the Sierra's and I drove up to go snowboarding. I had the top down because I couldn't resist the ambiance of fresh mountain air and snowcaps on rolling curving highway 80 from Sacramento toward Reno. When I got close to the ski resorts, it was fairly cold and I thought about putting on my goggles because my contacts were drying out, but the fear of the geekness factor made me choose form over function. It was still a beautiful drive.

LOL! Man if I ever saw a fellow S2000 driver wearing ski goggles while driving, I'd give him/her 2 thumbs
up!

About the windshield tape, I think the S2000 looks great with the tape off, but only when the top is down. I decided to leave my windshield tape on because I'm going for a black hardtop in the future. I'm trying to get a whole black/white color scheme going - carbon fiber hood, black hardtop, gunmetal rims. But, for those who wanted to see a real picture of a non-black S2000 with a black hardtop, here's a good one I found at Honda-Tech. He has the same color scheme that I'm going for, but his S2000 is Spa Yellow Pearl.

Lol. Those Spoon Sports rims were built with the idea of function over form, hence the small size (16-inch) and the light weight (12lbs. each?). I believe people either buy those for autocross/road racing or just for the fact that they're made by Spoon Sports.

Would old school aviator goggles and a scarf flying in the wind be more or less geeky? Would have that vintage racer look to it...
