Tein hood damper problem

Whereas I agree that "damper" is a misnomer I think "shock" is worse. It's a sprung hydraulic strut, but then that sounds pretty bad too.

Aus is correct. Damper and shock is wrong. Its is a hood strut. My car is red, and the teins are green. They are VERY easy to paint, so not biggie, im paiting them NFR.

That's what I was thinking too. I thought they might look good in a "crackle" or "wrinkle" finish paint to match the head cover.
