No prob. Next time you sit inside, look between the vents over the radio, you will see it.

The airbag on the MY06 cannot be dissabled by pushing a switch. It is dissabled by the seat weight sensor. The light by the radio will only tell you whether it is dissabled or not.
On my car it turns on whenever I fasten the passenger seat belt and there is no one seating there. I carried a few lightweight things and used the seatbelt to keep them from moving and the light came up.
So no, no manual switch. How heavy you have to be to activate it, I do not know ... take your kid with you next time and check it out.

Seatbelt does not have to be fastened to disable the airbag. Mine indicates disabled when I set my briefcase (with laptop) in the seat - without seatbelt. I'm guessing it's about 10 lbs.

Well, when my daughter sits in her seat and the belt is fastened the airbag light off comes on. She is 4 and in a booster and the light still comes on so the weight limit must be above 40lbs.

For earlier model S2000s (with dumb airbags), the answer is no, and see my signature for the factory mechanism which takes a big process to get done.
