Timing Chain Tensioner
If I don't have any symptoms of a faulty timing chain tensioner, at what mileage point should I go ahead and replace the original? I'm an 04 currently at ~37,000 miles.

I replaced mine as a preventative measure, but did so at about 115k miles. Even then, it was a bit premature. I had no symptoms.
Some would say that was a waste, since it might have been a very long time before any symptoms popped up.
At 37k miles you have nothing to worry about preventative wise here...

I've heard of them showing signs that early. I changed mine at like 85k. Bought the car at 75k. Partly misdiagnosed sound and partly peace of mind. Never hurts to do it then you don't have to worry. It's not cheap but it also is really not that expensive.
