Looks Titanium from the picture, but I've never heard of it either.

Looks like the Stock MY02-03 knob. Steel covered in aluminum and leather. Mine stock knob was soft and scratches too easy to be Ti.

Could be an element only found in Turboencabulators.

I believe it was called Crapalloy(Tungsten-cowhide).

Stock 2002+ shift knob is part #54102-S2A-030 - regular with leather ring. I have the box in front of me. The number on Ebay box is part #54102-SDP-A00. The price seems really low especially since HandA and others are selling the old Ti for $112 and it retails for $159 and the base version retails for $79+- and typically sells around $60.

That's the stock knob. As far as Ebay is concerned, Caveat Emptor. There is more unregulated fraud perpetrated there than any other place on earth

well...that same knob come on the Accord V6 now (explaining the part number thing, maybe) and so Honda probably makes a much large quantity (explaining the price??).

And hey, it's ebay, those guys sell for very little over cost.
