Is it just me? That didn't even cross onto my radar of insulting. He said, "Put your top up."
Yay.
Unless you're black and took offense to the "N***a" comment.
Yeah that wasn't really an insult, more like moron commentary. Just learn to ignore people because you'll probably receive more. A good example of such is a comment I received a few months ago that's similar to yours. The guy said "Put your top up, it's NOVEMBER" ....it was 50 degrees outside and sunny. I was wearing a hoodie. Don't sweat it.
I use to get stupid comments from only kids with the top-down. At a light, "Oh that guy is probably gay", i then hit 9k with my header-back exhaust, next light, "Holy Shit that f****r is fast!"
After installing my Cusco Roll Cage i get nothing but stares and thumbs up.
I just ignore it all now.

Whenever I see an s2, the last thing that crosses my mind is thinking that guy is gay. Now if it's an IS convertible that is a different story.
To the OP, that's not that offensive honestly. Perhaps you were just too sensitive + didn't like who told you to put the top up + he had a gf so you had an audience in case you did something. Kind of a dick move but I can see why you did it lol.

That story/vent aside, does it seem like more people will tend to try and cut you off, race you, and overall just disrespect you more while driving when you have your top down?
