sort of confused here.. torque=more sense of rush but it does not necessarily mean you're faster?
Torque is "twisting force". You need so much to get a certain weight moving. A diesel engine in a large truck can make 1600 lb/ft of torque. Will it go faster than an S2000? No.

I can notice the diff with the intake even in hot weather. Even in 100degree weather the difference is noticable. i'm less likely to bog when just easing off the clutch.
What your intake is doing is reducing heat soak. It is preventing you from "losing" engine output that hot air robs. It is not giving you anymore torque than what the engine is capable of producing.

Honestly how much torque do you need to daily drive your car? If a geo metro can do it than why cant the S do it?
It is not a matter of whether the S2000 "can" do it (driven in traffic), it is whether the driver would be "happy" with the feel of the car. I think the original poster mentioned that he/she sold his/her RSX because he/she didn't like the "feel" of the engine. I am afraid the original poster would not be happy with the S2000 either because the two Honda engines perform similarly.

i think the most important thing to consider is what you are driving now as a comparison. is it the same or less
